I love Mondays.
I don’t know why but Mondays are my absolute favourite.And now Mondays have become my smoothies day. Oh yes every Monday I will posting new smoothies or detox drinks recipes. Hopefully you’re a fan of these amazing drinks too,because honestly they taste so good.
Every time I make a new smoothie, I am little skeptical because I don’t really know what to expect in terms of taste. But then with every sip, I amaze myself how tasty they are. My current favourite is this one, The Banana Oat Smoothie. I had 2 glasses and right now I am fully stuffed. They are so tasty and I thought the oats might be a little disturbing because I added crunchy oats to it. But surprisingly no,the oats make it so velvety. Aaah I am a fan now.lol
Ok so let’s get started on making the smoothie. For the smoothie you will need :
- 2-3 Bananas
- 1 plain low fat yogurt or even vanilla yogurt for more taste
- Mint leaves
- Ice Cubes
- 1 glass of Milk
- Vanilla Extract if you are using plain low fat yogurt
Blend all the ingredient together until a smooth and creamy texture is obtained. Served chilled in a glass and sprinkle with some more oats on top. Seriously they taste amazing if you love bananas.
