Yayyyyyyy it’s celebration time! Happy 1st Birthday to PeachyTales 💗
Warning! It’s about to go all emotional right here and will probably need a tissue or two also. When I first started PeachyTales, I thought I would be alone into this. I was always telling myself that who would be interested really into what I’m doing. The fear was always there as at the end you are exposing yourself really out there. But then I reminded myself that I’m doing it for my own betterment and my personal battle with myself. With time things unfolded in a such a way that even I was left speechless.
It kept getting better and better and I kept discovering myself more and more. I never thought that I could ever do such with my own hands. I never knew what was the meaning of talent until now. And let alone passion! Looking back to how it all started, this must have been the best 1 year of my life after so so long. It wouldn’t have been possible without all of you really. Every time I thought I couldn’t go any further God always send something my way which I like to call as His people.
Thank you a million really for helping me have my firsts. My first on newspapers, my first on Radio, my first in everything literally! I met with mind-blowing people all along the line. People I couldn’t have dreamed of being able to converse with. MasterChef, Michelin Starred Chef,Internationally Acclaimed Food Photographer, lots and lots more! Sometimes I still get confused as to whether is it all meant for me or not. So for all the amazing love, the incredible support, the big encouragements and the divinely presence of all of you, THANK YOU for bringing sunshine to my life.
I don’t know where will this journey lead to as Food is the only thing that stays on my mind all day and all night. Hopefully somewhere good which will enable me to help others reach their dreams too. Somewhere when I look back, I’m like Holy God ! It was indeed meant for me. Also thank you God because I am nothing without you💗 Thank You to my parents as well even if most of the times they don’t understand much what is it I do really with this food thing.
I had a lot planned really but looks like the thing is not to plan at all sometimes. New website (which I’m trying hard to get together), Amazing Free Giveaways (personally baked cakes and some extras to pamper you all) and a few more surprises also. But well, not happening this soon I guess. However a promise is a promise and sometimes a leap backward helps get everything together in a million better way. Can’t wait to share and host giveaways for you all later this year really💗
Thank you Thank you Thank you for all the amazing love and great encouragements for a fantastic 1 year and for helping PeachyTales reach where it is now everyone.
Cheers to my 1st year of unbelievable milestones.. Ching Ching!!
So to make this moment even more enjoyable, I thought why not do something heavenly and what could be more heavenly other than Brownies! And not just any kind of brownies but THE Nutella Brownies! Oh yeah, I can already hear the Ouhh, Ahhh and Mmmm out there already. It’s my first really into baking brownies and every single moment while making it, I was so insecure whether will they turn out good or not. Because of my cranky oven nah, the fan is dead and the only thing that works is the bottom fire only. Pizza works great and even roasts works amazing but when it comes to proper cakes and baking, I find myself quite stuck to be honest but with a little trick here and there I do manage to get some proper food out of it. I must also admit the Brownies didn’t turn as perfect as I thought it would be but Oh I guess that’s the difference with baking, you have to practice and practice and practice until you master the skills.
However below is a foolproof recipe and if your oven is a darling then there is no way you don’t succeed. The few dont’s with this recipe are – firstly not to bake on a high fire. You can pre heat the oven but then when it’s in, do lower the temperature because Brownies are all about crispy tops and gooey middles! And for that they need lower and just about the right warmth to give you the best results. Secondly they only need a great deal of attention from you in terms of not over baking and also not over adding anything. Even in terms of folding and also the Nutella and batter consistency have to be appropriate! If you love chocolate then I guess you will do just fine. For love of cakes and sweets is all you need when you are baking. Still Brownies do require a couple of trials before you get them out right.
